Water Front Cars

At the clock tower in the water front in Cape Town these classic old cars sat for most of the summer.

The first car I think is a VW Karmann Ghia, possibly a 1959/60 whilst the car behind I think is a MG MGB Roadster.

There was a lot of cloud in the sky this day, but there was a small break close to the horizon for the sun to poke through a little before it slipped off the edge of the world.

A little blurred as I never had my tripod and it was taken at 300mm.

Hout Bay Beach - I don't swim here as the water never looks 100% clean as it close to a large working harbour.

It was a public holiday on Monday in South Africa, so we took a drive to Hout Bay harbour and went to Mariners Wharf. I had the tuna steak which was excellent!

This old boat is close to the restaurant, as you can see its been claimed by the locals!

Southern Suburbs Cape Town

I awoke at 06:10am one day last week and had a look out of the bedroom window to a beautiful sunrise!

The mountains in the distance are the Hottentot Holland Mountains and are probably a good 40 minute drive from Cape Town.
