At the clock tower in the water front in Cape Town these classic old cars sat for most of the summer.

There was a lot of cloud in the sky this day, but there was a small break close to the horizon for the sun to poke through a little before it slipped off the edge of the world.

It was a public holiday on Monday in South Africa, so we took a drive to Hout Bay harbour and went to Mariners Wharf. I had the tuna steak which was excellent!

I awoke at 06:10am one day last week and had a look out of the bedroom window to a beautiful sunrise!
