When I was younger I was always told to stand still and stop running around - little did I realise that I could have made a good living out of standing still if I had just stuck with it!
Simon | November 16, 2006 11:34AM Love the detail and colour Craig! My careers advisor also failed to mention this as a possible job when I was leaving school, who knows where I could be right now if I was fully informed.
david| November 16, 2006 12:37PM yes, b ut you have to paint yourself silver and be prepared to be prodded by any amount of people too! good shot.
armeen| November 16, 2006 4:20PM it's never too late craig ;) i like the subject matter. the quality of light is soft and pleasing. if i were thinkig about improving the photo, i would think about the negative space above her head. sice everwhere else has a very tight cropping, i find my eyes scaping to the top of the photo.
P.J.| November 16, 2006 5:54PM Wonder how long it takes for those people to get that look. Amazing shot. The color and detail is fantastic and the closeup is perfect. Having it close like this is better than if you had tried to get the whole body.
Excellent catch!
Sidney| November 16, 2006 11:28PM I pitty those guys. Not my kind of job!
Excellent portrait! Very sharp !
intern| November 16, 2006 11:28PM amazing image ... the colors, the details- superb!!!
Judith Polakoff| November 17, 2006 2:37AM I agree, this is an excellent portrait! I wasn't sure at first if she was really human -- amazing! I hope that's just silver-colored makeup and not actually paint.
Steve W| November 17, 2006 3:01AM Lovely - we saw lots of this when we visited Covent Garden. It's quite a spectacle.
chantal| November 21, 2006 3:15PM excellent protrait...i always worry about these people when its hot...having to stand still in all that make-up and cotume in the heat must be excruciating......i think we're better off doing what we do :)
Phil| November 26, 2006 1:56PM Great detail! Awsome shot!
