This guy has a unique call to attract your attention - best to hear him in action, he sits on the corner of Great Windmill street, Haymarket and right by the stairs to Piccadilly station. I decided to go for it with the blur tool :) You'll either love it or hate it!

Have a good weekend.

I actually really like it. I was trying to figure out how you did it before I read your comment below and I couldn't come up with the answer. I have never used the blur tool before, very intersting shot!

love the blurred effect around this guy - very eye-catching portrait! thanks for all your recent comments on my site also - re: your question - that was almost the last bird for the book but today was very exciting as I photographed a bird that had not been seen in the area where the book covers for over 5 years!! might post it soon :)

Excellent!! I love this street-shot!

I've been thinking of taking a photo like this ... you beat me to it!

Nice image. In this case given the busy background I think the blur works well. It's either that or a close crop to isolate the subject.

Interesting blur effect. It works well to isolate and draw attention to the man.

This is one of my preferred effects. Perhaps to December I come to London and I will make a P2o of photo of this type.

This is great....was he aware at all of you taking his picture??

I usually love any kind of blur, and here it looks interesting, but the guy and newstand almost look like they're floating, or moving because of it...it's a little weird for me, but I certainly don't hate it. I love to see people take chances....good job!
