To and from Venice

While Venice maybe a beautiful and historic city with some of the most most amazing views you'll ever see, the venetian lagoon is very polluted with large ships, container ships and many many pleasure cruise vessels running constantly and dirtying the water, as well as industrial plants in the near by area dumping waste.

The Venetian officials are doing their best to clean the waters, but its a slow process.
