Add a little bit of contrast to add some depth to this absolutely lovely & wonderful shot (dynamich range is no where to be seen). Just seems flat.

I love the way the 2 birds are soo pefectly framed above the bridge. This is a really really really good shot. Flat though :(

Birds? Ah you mean the flags :) Not sure I agree with the image being flat, but everyone has their own interpretation when it comes to photos - thats what I love about blogging and photography :)

This is a lovely shot Craig. I have one like this the only problem is that I took it at night (on a night boat) and it didn't turn out right like yours.

This turned out nicely. I think B&W was a good choice. I took one of those cruises not long ago, but I didn't get any shots that turned out.

The wake of the boat divides the scene up into halves that look symetrical. Very cool.
