More from the small fishing harbour of Old Leigh in south Essex - looking back the old Kodak compact was not that bad a camera, I think that I have just become snobby with my dslr!
Nick| October 11, 2006 1:50PM So is this the cousin of PT109?
david| October 11, 2006 2:09PM Leigh is a great place for a photoshoot (i have a cousin lives just up the road), you just can't beat a trawler and a decent mudbank!
Simon | October 11, 2006 4:52PM Nice rustic colours and detail, nice photo.
Mark | October 11, 2006 5:35PM cool shot, I live 30 mins from Leigh!
intern| October 12, 2006 2:12AM Interesting boats ... the sand is all water soaked ... must be difficult to walk.
martineb| October 12, 2006 7:25AM That's a very effective picture - a beautiful combination of textures, colours and perspective.Good shot
chantal| October 12, 2006 2:56PM These are great images, Craig, all of them!
And I think we all go thru a period of equipment-snobbery once we upgrade....and these images are just proof that less expensive/technoligically inferior cameras can produce some truly incredible images. I even heard of a print made from a $20 Holga selling for $1 million at auction!!
The lesson: it's not the equipment, it's the eye!
Steve W| October 12, 2006 5:53PM Lovely image Craig, nicely composed.
