Hitachi Microdrive Memory Card

The Hitachi Microdrive currently rains as the world smallest hard drive - it weighs just over half an ounce (16 grams) and about the size of a matchbook. It comes in many different sizes with the top being an impressove 6GB. Hitachi have used their own technology in order to keep the size so small but the capacity very high. The Microdrive can support sustained transfer rates of 7.2MB per second.
