The new Canon 40D, is a 10.1 Megapixel digital SLR. The next move up from the 30D. In the UK expect it to sell for around £900 from Sept onwards. Other interesting news from Canon is the Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E3 which will enable remote transfer of images to remote FTP servers. In HTTP mode photographers will be able to remote trigger the camera from over the Internet and initiate uploads!
The specifications for the 40D are impressive:
